THE KILLDREN - teaser / proof of concept

A lifelong horror fan, Dana Berry has channeled years of “study” and written his first horror feature, THE KILLDREN. In order to promote the screenplay, Dana made the short film teaser, THE KILLDREN ARE COMING. The short has screened at over a dozen genre film festivals and won several awards. The Killdren screenplay won best Horror Comedy Feature Screenplay at Atlanta After Dark Film Festival. The short film, THE LITTLE CURSE, written by Dana and directed by himself and Nicholas Berger won Best Slasher/Splatter Short Film at Another Hole in the Head Film Festival in San Francisco. Dana has a background in film and television post-production and resides in Oakland, hailing from Boston with a stopover in LA.

Miro is a Finnish director/producer who has been involved in more than 20 short films in his career, mostly in Finland but also in the UK and the US. He has also worked as a 3D assistant director and extras coordinator in national and international film productions in Finland. Miro directed the short film KRAKENS MAW and is currently directing the feature, STORY OF A GOBLIN, which will wrap production at the end of the year. Miro has a passion for horror and stories that convey meaningful messages. He dreams of a more international and daring Finnish film industry and believes that this dream is about to come true in the near future.

  For over two decades, Finnish writer/director Marko Mäkilaakso has directed music videos, commercials, documentaries, TV series, short films, and feature films, gaining an international reputation for his strong visual style and storytelling abilities. His feature film credits are WAR OF THE DEAD, DEADLY DESCENT, ELLA AND FRIENDS 2, IT CAME FROM THE DESERT and new horror comedy, The CREEPS. His TV directing credits include Netflix’s BORDERTOWN and THE HELSINKI SYNDROME. Currently, Marko is developing the neo-noir crime thriller SALOME, which he co-wrote with the legendary Mick Garris. Marko is also attached to direct THE SCOUT, a psychological thriller from the makers of the popular Iron Sky franchise. Additionally, Marko is directing and producing the action film VIKING: RISE OF THE WARRIOR, which is set to begin production in 2026. On the TV series front, Marko is set to direct the action thriller ARROWHEAD for the Finland-based ReelMedia Oy.
